Newport High School Orchestra and Evergreen City Ballet are delighted to premier a brand-new production based on the beloved fairy tale, Hansel & Gretel, created and choreographed by Jennifer Porter. This original ballet will feature the Newport High School Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Barney Blough, and dancers from Evergreen City Ballet. The unique collaboration between Newport High School Orchestra and the Evergreen City Ballet provides young musicians and dancers with the experience of working together on a live show, resulting in a wonderfully artistic production that’s sure to enchant audiences of all ages. Two performances will be presented at Newport High School Performing Arts Center at 7:00pm on Saturday, May 13th, and 2:00pm on Sunday, May 14th.
